I have spent most of my life breeding and training cutting horses. I have always enjoyed starting with something wild and raw and bringing it to its highest potential. I have taken that philosophy to my woodwork.
I choose every board for its figure and color. I plane and size each piece. Dovetail or mortise and tenon joints ensure optimal strength and beauty. I find and bring out the unique qualities in wood, from reclaimed barn wood to maple mahogany, teak, and oak. The people I build for are as much a part of the process and the creativity as the tools and the wood. I work closely with all clients to translate their dreams into wood. My hands shape and assemble every part of every piece. Each work is my favorite and my best. When I send the pieces off into their new lives, I know they will grow in beauty and value for generations.
